As I have mentioned in my university to-do list post, one of the things I like doing is making playlists. Music is such a big part of my life that I wouldn’t be able to make it through a full year of university without it. Heck, my favourite mode of relaxation in between writing assignments is finding new music and making playlists for different occasions in my life such as walking the dog, writing really late at night and you guessed it, going back to school,
I’ve always been nervous before starting a new school year to the point of being physically sick the night before or even on the commute to school (first day of year 5 I threw up on the bus, at the bus station and in class before my dad came to pick me up from the nurse’s office). Yeah, I can’t handle stuff like that very well. So because music is such a big stress reliever for me, I started making playlists before going back to school. I tend to listen to a lot of different genres. I listen to a lot of kpop, different subgenres of rock and indie music and some pop/hip-hop.
So without further ado, here is my back to school playlist for 2018.
The Hunna – Bonfire
Flor – Hold On
Vinyl Theatre – The Island
The Wombats – Greek Tragedy
Arctic Monkeys – When The Sun Goes Down
Dave Edwards, Fly by Midnight – Swimming With Sharks
SYML – Where’s My Love (acoustic)
Blossoms – Charlemagne
Sundara Karma – Flame
The Kooks – Naive
So here it is, my back to school playlist for 2018. Feel free to write your back to school songs in the comments and if you don’t have back to school songs, what’s your favourite music genre? Thanks for reading and make sure to check out my last blog post which is a list of my favourite SHINee songs.
